Salary: £30,767 to £41,226 per annum

As supply network manager you will manage across the region and co-ordinate regional network operations to facilitate delivery of planned maintenance, source outages and delivery of capital works and directly respond to incidents, monitor network status and identify and direct mitigation measures to minimise impact on customer supplies and water quality - delivering changes within the supply network as required under the regional water resource strategy.

You will also monitor the status of the supply network via company IT systems and liaise with staff to ensure optimum performance with minimal risk to customer water quality, including response to telemetry alarms and managing high-risk assessment processes and signing off risk assessments to deliver the 'due diligence' approach to network operation and facilitate routine system repair, maintenance and other interventions.

You will need detailed knowledge of water supply network operation at both tactical and strategic level and detailed understanding of system hydraulics, pumps and reservoir management. You must have knowledge of water quality standards and a clear understanding of water production and water resource strategy.

You will have a proven ability to assess risk and formulate mitigation strategies and be experienced in incident management. You will be familiar with regulatory standards for both water quality and customer service, company ISO working procedures and regulations and employment law - plus have a clear understanding of health, safety and security.
